New windows and doors improve comfort, cut energy bills and add long-term value to your home. Juniper Windows Pasadena pairs proven product lines with our own installing crews for lasting performance - and a price we put in writing.
Choose your installer
The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.

Meet the Pasadena Team Behind Juniper Windows Pasadena
We’re a small crew, and that’s by design. Every installer who walks through your door in Pasadena has been with us for years, not weeks. We don’t subcontract the work out to strangers. The people who measure your openings, quote your project, and set your windows are the same people you’ll see on the job site from start to finish. Most of us live within 20 minutes of the neighborhoods we serve, from Bungalow Heaven to Madison Heights to Hastings Ranch. That matters when a homeowner calls with a question six months after the install. We know exactly which house they’re talking about, because we were the ones standing in it.
Our People
Sean Mackey, Owner and Lead Technician
Sean founded Juniper Windows Pasadena in 2001 after a decade of running installs for other shops and getting frustrated with the way projects went sideways when communication broke down. He still runs a tape measure on most jobs, and he’s the first to admit he learned the hard way about checking rough-opening square before ordering a single window. That lesson came from a 1998 install in Altadena where a 72-inch opening turned out to be 72 and 3/8 on one side and 71 and 5/8 on the other. He spent two days shimming and furring a wall that should have taken four hours, and he’s never ordered glass without verifying the opening dimensions himself since. Sean holds a California glazing contractor certification and has completed manufacturer training through PGT and Therma-Tru. When he’s not on a ladder, he’s usually hiking Eaton Canyon with his dog, a rescue mutt named Blue.
Miguel R., Senior Installer
Miguel has been setting windows and hanging doors with Sean since 2009, and before that he spent six years in residential framing, which means he understands how a wall actually carries load. That background shows up on every retrofit we do in Pasadena’s older homes, where stud layouts from the 1920s rarely match what the original plans claimed. Miguel is our lead specialist on impact-rated glass installations, including PGT WinGuard and CGI product lines, and he’s certified in proper anchoring and sealant application for wind-borne debris zones. He’s the guy you want on a second-story casement swap off a ladder because he never rushes a flashing detail. Off the clock, Miguel coaches his daughter’s softball team at Victory Park and makes a smoked brisket that has caused at least two team meetings to run long.
Dana K., Service Coordinator
Dana is the voice on the phone when you call Juniper Windows Pasadena, and she’s been handling scheduling, permits, and material orders since 2014. She knows the Pasadena building permit counter by first name, which saves real time on window and door replacements that require sign-off. Dana tracks every project through The Relay Standard, so when you book in a tap, you get a live arrival time, before-and-after photos, a written price, and a digital invoice without ever having to chase us down. She’s the reason our written quotes actually match the final invoice. Dana grew up in San Marino and can tell you which local coffee shop has the best cold brew within a four-block radius of any job site we work, which is a skill the crew values more than any certification.
Chris T., Apprentice Installer
Chris joined the team in 2022 after two years at a Pasadena lumberyard, where he learned to spot warped stock and bad millwork before it ever reached a customer’s house. He’s working through his manufacturer certifications now, starting with ES Windows and ECO Window Systems product training, and he spends most installs handling flashing, weatherproofing, and the finish details that determine whether a window will leak in a February rainstorm. Chris was born and raised in Northeast Pasadena, and he’s thrilled to be working on the same streets where he grew up riding his bike. On weekends you’ll find him rebuilding a 1968 Ford pickup in his parents’ garage, a project his mother has patiently tolerated for three years running.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Juniper location operates under The Relay Visibility Guarantee, and that isn’t a slogan hanging in the office. It’s the actual workflow we follow on every single project. You get a written price before any work starts, a live arrival time you can track the morning of the install, before-and-after photos of the completed job, and a digital invoice that matches the quote down to the line item. No estimate that morphs into a surprise. No crew that shows up late without explanation. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise covers every completed installation for a full year, parts and labor, in writing. If something isn’t right, we make it right. That’s not a maybe. It’s the standard Sean set when he started this shop, and it’s the standard Miguel, Dana, Chris, and the rest of us hold ourselves to on every home we walk into from the Arroyo to the foothills.
Why Work With a Local Crew?
We know what Pasadena windows actually endure. The summer sun that bakes south-facing glass on Orange Grove Boulevard. The Santa Ana winds that rattle single-pane frames in the San Rafael Hills. The winter rain that finds every failed seal on a 40-year-old aluminum slider. When we recommend impact-rated glass for a home in a wind-prone pocket of Altadena, it’s not because it’s a pricier upsell. It’s because we’ve seen what wind-borne debris does to standard annealed glass, and we’d rather install the right product the first time than hear from you after the next big blow.
We’re licensed and insured, every technician is background-checked and uniformed, and the phone is answered by a live person 24/7. Not a voicemail maze. A real human being who knows your project, because Dana keeps the schedule and the details on every active job.
If you’re pricing out window or door work in Pasadena, call (626) 657-5977 and talk to Dana or Sean directly. We’ll ask about your house, your existing frames, and what’s actually bothering you about them. Then we’ll give you a written price so you can make a decision without a sales pitch hanging over your head. Estimates are free, and the number on the quote is the number you’ll pay.
